Applications for the lucky draw for the "Miracle Plum Wine," a blend of three aged plum wines, are now open.
This aged soju is a blend of 8-year-old plum wine, 20-year-old potato soju, and 9-year-old sherry barrel-aged barley soju. The sweet and sour taste of plum wine is combined with the complex aroma of shochu, which has vanilla and woody notes. Den-en Shuzo, a shochu brewery that has won the highest gold medal, participated in the creation of this product. With a thorough understanding of shochu, the brewery came up with the golden blending ratio of 80% plum wine, 15% potato shochu and 5% barley shochu. The flavor and aroma of the precisely calculated plum wine is truly a "miracle." We hope you enjoy the depth of taste created by the interweaving of the different aging tracks.
The plum wine has been aged for eight years and has a rich sweetness and mild sourness. The sweet potato shochu and barley shochu, which have been aged for a long time, combine to create a deep aroma and mature taste. With just one sip, you can taste the refreshing sourness of plum, the sweetness of vanilla, and a hint of salty caramel flavor. The surrounding wood aroma of the sherry barrels makes people feel the depth of the years. … combined with the magic of aging, this makes this one of the most luxurious bottles you can ever taste.
Taen Shuzo (Kagoshima Prefecture)
It was founded in 1890 in Sendai City, Satsuma, Kagoshima Prefecture, and was originally named "Tsukada Brewing Co., Ltd." The company later changed its name to "Osono Shochu" and has been working hard to create its own original shochu, including developing Japan's first "barrel-stored authentic barley shochu" and "musical shochu" technology. Our company continues to pursue the possibilities of shochu, Japan's most proud distilled liquor.
