Nawatoki Foods Corporation will launch Yurin, a premium plum wine, on February 14, 2025, with a bright red color and an elegant fruity aroma.
Fully ripe Nanko-ume plums are soaked in Japanese sake and then brewed with red shiso extract to create an authentic plum wine. It has a beautiful ruby red color and a sweet and sour raspberry-like flavor.
No additives such as colouring, flavouring or acidulants are used, only the finest ingredients are used to create its colour and flavour.
It can be drunk neat, chilled, on the rocks or with soda.

Nanko plums grown at the foot of Mount Ibuki, which is rich in nature, are used in a luxurious way.
The sake used for pickling is 100% full-flavored sake brewed specifically for plum wine at the brewery.
The taste of plum wine can only be extracted by soaking fully ripe plums in sake for more than half a year.
Blended with pesticide-free red perilla extract from Oita Prefecture.
No flavoring, coloring or acidulant is used, and special raw materials and manufacturing methods are used to create a delicious and fragrant taste.
The amount of rock sugar added is less than half of that in a regular plum wine recipe. The fully ripe plums and the rich sweetness of the sake itself allow us to use just the right amount of sugar.
