Hotel Nikko Osaka will be serving the “Symbol” from April 1st.

Hotel Nikko Osaka in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, will be serving its original cocktail, the “Symbol”, at its main bar, “Yakan-kō” (2nd floor), from April 1st (Tue) to May 31st (Sat), 2025.

At Hotel Nikko Osaka, a cocktail made with craft gin and umeshu (plum wine) that Osaka is proud of will be available.
The gin used is ROKU, a Japanese craft gin that has received high praise around the world, especially in Europe and the United States, and is made with six types of Japanese ingredients, including cherry blossoms, green tea, and yuzu, using the delicate craftsmanship of the Suntory Osaka Factory Spirits and Liqueurs Workshop.
For the umeshu, we use the deep-flavored Suntory Ume Shu (plum wine) “Suntory Ume Shu (Yamazaki Distillery Stored Ume Shu Blend)”, which is stored in old whiskey casks at the Suntory Yamazaki Distillery.
We then add champagne to this, and use blue curacao syrup to create a beautiful blue color, and sink a red cherry into the bottom of the glass.
This is a drink that brings out the soft sweetness of the umeshu in the Japanese flavors you can feel from “ROKU”.
